Ashvin Arora
Head of retirement solutions, MetLife
Arora is head of retirement solutions with MetLife Australia with responsibility for
developing longevity solutions for the Australian market while leveraging MetLife’s vast
global experience and capabilities in this area.
Prior to joining MetLife in 2010, Arora was head of the global offshore products division
at Hartford Life Ltd, and was based initially in Connecticut (USA) and then in London.
The division included a Mutual Fund business and a Variable Annuity business, working
across multiple jurisdictions for both Life Company and Securities products. Arora was
also a member of the company’s overall VA product development board, which was responsible for global
oversight and evolution of these products from annuities to new generation life time income variants.
Prior to joining The Hartford Arora worked in various capacities for ING Asia Pacific Ltd, including as a CEO
at country level.
